Dogs have opinions. Strong ones. And they're not subtle about it.

You know that head tilt they do when you start talking? Most people think it's cute. And yeah, it absolutely is. But there's something way more interesting going on behind those big dopey eyes than just "aww, what's that noise?"

Some researchers say dogs tilt their heads to better hear specific words they've learned. Others say it's about adjusting their ears to pick up on emotional tone. Both solid theories. Both very boring compared to what's actually happening.

Dogs are running a full diagnostic on you. They're listening for the version of you that makes sense. The calm, coherent, slightly-caffeinated version that speaks in complete sentences and doesn't stare blankly at the toaster for four minutes. The one they actually trust to handle the leash, the treats, and the general logistics of the day.

Get your coffee situation wrong and they tilt harder. Like a tiny furry IT technician trying to figure out why the system is lagging. They know. They always know.

Here's the thing though. Dogs aren't wrong to make that call. The difference between pre-coffee and post-coffee isn't just a mood. It's a whole different operating system. One runs smooth. The other just buffers.

We are aware that any commercial product includes not only the product sold, but its container. A roaster is therefore a producer of coffee, but also of bags of coffee. This is why it is essential for us to use compostable bags.”
