Slow walkers are not random. They are strategically placed in front of you at the exact moment you need to be somewhere. Airports, grocery stores, sidewalks, it does not matter. The universe has a deployment system and you are always the target.

The wildest part is how personal it feels. Like they saw you coming and thought, "this seems like a good spot to stop and read a text message." Then they do the slow shuffle left, the slow shuffle right, and somehow you end up blocked from every angle like they practiced this.

Now here is the thing nobody talks about. These same people, on the same sidewalk, moving the exact same speed, somehow feel completely different after your first cup of coffee. The fog lifts. The edge disappears. You stop calculating how many seconds you would save if they just moved two feet to the left. The world stops being a personal attack and starts being just a bunch of people trying to figure out their day.

Coffee does not speed them up. It just slows down your frustration. And honestly that is a pretty solid superpower. One cup and you go from silently fuming to low-key unbothered. The slow walkers did not change. You did.
